What an enlightening month I've had.  I've enjoyed the summer, and learned more about myself and my creative abilities than I ever imagined. 

I am launching my new website next week, loaded with a small gallery of design concepts and collections for the home and office, for all to enjoy and use.  This means graphic designers, fashion designers, home decorators, event planners, entrepreneurs, bloggers and whomever else enjoys my creative vision  :-)

Today I explored a little with pink and green.

I decided to take a stroll through one of my favorite craft stores, and got a little inspiration while I was there.  I am amazed at how artistic and crafty a person can be, with the right tools in hand.

When I was a teenager, purple was my favorite color.  I was absolutely in love with all things purple.  Now, some 20 (plus) years later, I'm discovering that I really have a thing for blue.  My first clue came about four years ago while I was planning my wedding.  My theme colors: midnight blue and white.

While I love all shades of blue, it seems that in my designing I'm partial to the darker shades.  So you might see this a little more than other colors.

I love this new era of self-discovery.  I hope, as I share more of my work, that you do too!

I'm 38 years old, and completely unsure of what I want to do with my life, professionally that is.  I've been married to my wonderful husband for 4 years, and I have two beautiful daughters - 15 years old and 20 years old.  I believe I am now entering a period of uncertainty when it comes to the professional direction that I am headed in.

Although my skill and experience is primarily in Office Administration and Management, it gives me absolutely no stimulation or satisfaction, and so, over the last several years I've taken a genuine interest in media.  Magazines, TV, Radio.  I love it.  I enjoy being crafty and I'm also pretty good with website building, management and promotion.  And now, here I am taking a shot at graphic art and photography.

I suppose I'll find my way pretty soon.
