My interest in photography originated during my trip to Guatemala in the summer of 2007. As a structural engineer I wanted to do something completely different but "useful" in my field. So I decided to go on a volunteer trip, helping to build a house for the Constru Casa Foundation, and combine this with a round trip. Of course, these experiences had to be recorded and what's better suited then taking photos? After being gone for three weeks and on the road with my Fujifilm S5000 my first digital photo album became a fact! In 2011 I started to take pictures of the underwater world. With a Sealife DC1200 and the special mode for blue water I could combine my passion for photography, travelling and scuba diving. The photos were way off in white balance, but I didn't care... I took pictures at 20 meters beneath the surface! Now, eight years and several cameras later I'm at the point where I find my photos suitable for presentation and would like to share them with everyone herein interested. I hope you will find my photos useful to help you with your own creations!
