Grey Head Fish Eagle

This bird is a medium size eagle, it has a small bil and head it is lone ranger. The breeding season is from November to may it has a huge stick of nest up to 1,5 meters and with repeated use upto 2 meters deep, The nest is lined up with green leaves and on tall trees and always near by water with avoidance of human habitation. The clutch consist of two to four eggs, The incubation last for 45 days the chicks fledge after 70 days, it is mainly seen in north east india and in rajasthan and uttarpradesh, it spends most of its time branches near water.and spends very little time in air.
