Baya weaver

The weaver bird is a finch like passerines with much larger conical bill. The breeding males have some yellow on them. The females are faintly patterned in their plumage. They are known for their elaborate nest. The nest is made of grass ball with one end open. It looks like a shape of a coconut. This bird is seen mostly in grass and wood areas. It lays 2to 5 eggs incubated by female for 14 to 15 days by the female. The female mainly feeds the chicks insects and other animals. This bird has high visibility in the region thanks to its beautiful nest.which is found on a palm tree hanging over water.
