changeable hawk eagle
It is recently split from the crested hawk eagle. It is white color with a small crest on the head with beautiful black eyes a very handsome looking eagle. I first saw this eagle at nameri park in assam. The small crest is very attractive. It is a medium size eagle. The bill is very strong with a curve at the tip. This eagle is very silent, but in breeding season one can hear the sound quite often which is described as yeep yip yip yip. One can see this bird in south east asia, Nepal and Bhutan. The breeding season in jan feb only one egg is laid white in color blotched with light red.
