Shikra
This bird resembles a goshawk, a very beautiful bird yellowish eyes and black spot at the center of the eye. This bird has white breast with orange spots. The difference between male and female is that the male has greyish color body while the female has a darker greyish brown body. On the male which has grey color wings on that wings there are white spots. The bill is grey in color with a pointed curve at the tip. The shikra hs a sharp call which is similar to the black drongo. The breeding season is from march to June. The nest is similar to that of crows. Both sex built the nest which consist of twigs, They also make use of metal wires. They lay 3 to 4 eggs incubation period is 18 to 21 days.
