Crested serpent eagle
The crested serpant eagle is mainly seen in the north east India. This bird is a lone ranger, it has a black crown, yellow eyes with a black spot at the center, the bill is pointed and blackish grey in color, the belly is brown grey with white spots. This bird perches on leafy branches. I have seen this bird in kaziranga it’s a treat to watch a bird with such beautiful eyes. The food is mainly snakes and lizards, apart from the north east this bird is also seen in the Himalayas mainly in forest areas
