Shikra
When ever I take a walk around nhava shiva the suburbs of navi Mumbai. I come across a small bird of prey that is the shikra. It is a beautiful bird with glittering eyes. These eyes reminds me of our legendary Bollywood actress the late madhubala. This bird also resembles the euraisian sparrow hawk. The female has a dull grey color on wings with orange and white spots on the breast. The male has a grey color on wings and orange spots on the white breast, the eyes of the male are red with a black spot while the eyes of the female are yellowish with black spot.
