Changeable Hawk Eagle
The changeable hawk eagle is similar to the crested hawk eagle, but it is slower. It is north east India, Bangladesh and Andaman islands. It can be easily distinguished by its prominent crest and the tail which has a heavy brown color with black stripes. The eyes are similar to that of a shikra which has a black spot followed by yellowish white color with a black ring. The breast and the crown are white in color. The wings are blackish brown with white spots. It has a black bill, which has a curve at the tip. This bird is a treat to watch when it looks at an angle. I say this because one can see the crest clearly. I saw this bird at the manas wild life sanctuary in assam. I was very impressed looking at this bird mainly because of its looks which fascinated me a lot, mainly because of its pose which gave me a chance to use my camera
