Crested serpent eagle
It has dark brown head and body with scaly appearance and the crest remains folded like the hood. The yellow lores around the eyes are a distinct field mark. The tail and the underside of the flight feathers are banded with black and white. It is generally pearched on leafy trees from where it springs on its prey.
