
Himalayan vulture
A huge vulture very tall and also the most aggressive feeder. Its plumage is pale buff to grey in color with black flight feathers and tail. The feet are yellowish and pale feathers come out in streaks around the neck and shoulders. It is mainly seen in the Himalayan range Vulture spends around 8 hours each day searching for food, soaring on themals until carrion is located. Once food source has been found several vultures will rapidly assemble and may chase smaller scavengers.
