Sweaty Photographs of Perspiration

Sweating is viewed in different ways by people. Some interpret sweat as a sign of hard work and effort being applied to a situation, while others view sweat as being disgusting and dirty. In reality, sweating is a means of controlling body temperature by secreting moisture through the skin and allowing cooling through evaporation.

Sweating occurs for a variety of reasons, whether hot weather or strenuous exercise, and the amount of sweat a person generates varies significantly by age, weight, height and gender. Sweat consists mainly of water, but also contains minerals and other substances.
