The atmosphere affects all photographs, and usually it is a photographer’s best friend for controlling light, creating mood, depth of field and also helping to create interesting photographs. While it’s not always easy to capture elements such as mist, haze, or fog, when done right, it adds a great feeling to the photograph.
Check out these examples of atmospheric photography, and feel the mood through the elements.
