Futuristic Architecture Photographs

Architecture is an example of functional art, similar to automotive or product design. While some artworks such as paintings or drawings exist solely to serve the artistic expression of the creator, functional artworks have to serve a purpose.

In the case of architecture, that purpose is to serve as a stable, habitable building. Architecture design has to be structurally sound, have an efficient layout, and conform to building and safety codes. There are many architectural design styles out there, such as gothic, modern, contemporary, geometric, and more.

The challenge in architectural design is to achieve the proper blend of form and function and create a memorable style. One of the emerging trends in architectural design is futuristic buildings, which I’ve showcased:
