Today I’m sharing with you a new set of monochrome grunge wall textures from an old and abandoned farmhouse. I came upon this decaying building last summer while I was travelling around the south-west part of Iceland. It has some really cool landscapes and places to shoot some amazing pictures.

This old farmhouse has crumbled and damaged concrete walls exposing the inner masonry made out of old stones. It’s filled with tiny cracks and other details that makes it very interesting and usable as a texture. It also has a small and crooked wooden door that might be useful if you’re doing photo manipulations.

I used Adobe Lightroom to create the monochrome effect, and added more contrast to get sharper details. As you can see from the image below, the house is very old and weathered.

The view from the farmhouse is really breathtaking, as it shows the mountains from Snæfellsnes in the background. I hope you can find some good use for these textures, and as always you can download them all from Dropbox via the link below. Until next time, enjoy!
