Biography:
Hi I'm Kristie. I live in Maryland, 20 minutes south of DC. I have my own photography business. I primarily shoot weddings and portraits. But I shoot everything!!! We built a studio here at our house and I love it! I'm a college graduate from Maryland with a bachelors of arts degree in Photography.
I started taking photography courses in 11th grade... that would be 8 years ago. (yikes) Then I took another my senior year and thats when I knew I didn't want to do anything else. Went onto college took courses and shot all of the time! I've learned so much over the years and I continue to learn every day. I start teaching 2 college photography courses at the local community college Feb 2 and I can't wait!!! I'm all ready.
But it didn't start in high school... that was just the first time the course was offered to me. As I flip through the hundreds of snap shots, I've been taking pictures since the late 80's. Might not be the best... but some aren't too bad. Catching a baseball in thin air after one throws a ball... isn't too bad for a 7 year old. At least I think I was 7 I have to check. ahh Maybe it was luck...

My first camera was a green teenage mutant ninja turtle camera. It had my favorite turtle, Michelangelo, on the front as well as on every image that was printed out! I still have pictures from it and the camera sits in my studio today
