Description

The piece I'm playing here is 'Innocent', by Joe Hisaishi (but a lot of it was used in Hayao Miyazaki's film, 'Laputa, Castle In The Sky').I went to great lengths to get this sodding film going because I have the most basic of basic equipment. This was something like the ninth take because I was trying out different things to stop the camera from farting (or, at least, making buzzing noises when I hit certain notes). All I had was myself, my piano, my camera, my music stand (used as a makeshift tripod for the camera), rubber bands and a buttload of tissues (the latter two used for propping up the camera and to help stop the buzzing).I played this piece so many times in half an hour that I started forgetting how to play it mid-performance (trust me, it happens). It drove me nuts, and I don't think that I'll be playing it again for a while. XD
