Recap:Cara is at Lizzie's house.Me: *sits on bed* So, what's Sand Dune High like? (A/N: If you read the Non-Blond Cheerleader series, you get it. If not READ IT!)Lizzie: *sits on her bed* Well, it's cool. It's not that hard to get into. Which explains how Jake goes there. Me: How do you know Darren?Lizzie: Like he said he's always gone here. I've gone to school with him since pre-K. He missed a lot of last year, being on tour with his dad and all.Me: Yeah.Lizzie: So, what's it like being a band member's daughter?Me: I'm sure it's the same life you have being an actor and actress' daughter. *pauses* Wait, didn't your dad live in California.Lizzie: He goes there a lot. But we don't live there. He moved to New Jersey after he and my mom got married.Me: Ah. Lizzie: So, is it true about your dad marrying that rehab girl?Me: Natalie? Yeah. She actually helped me get back into shape after rehab. That's how they met.Lizzie: Awww! That's SO romantic! *sighs* I wish I had a romantic story like that.Me: Me too.Lizzie: So you know, the girls and I, we try to have Friday night sleepovers every week. Do you wanna come this Friday?Me: Sure. Sounds fun. I mean I'll have to check with my dad, but I'm sure he'll say yes. And if he doesn't, I'll turn on the puppy dog eyes.Lizzie: Those work on your dad too? My dad sees them and I can do whatever. Except date.We both laughed and the two of us talked for what seemed like forever about our dads, siblings and our feelings about other celeb kids.Zac: *knocks on door* Hey girls, glad to see you're having fun. Sorry to break up the party, but Cara, your dad is here.Me: Alright thanks. *hugs Lizzie* See you later. *grabs stuff and leaves*Outside I got in Dad's car.Kevin: Have fun?Me: Yeah. Lizzie is so great. And she's having a sleepover on Friday. Can I go?Kevin: If you finish all of your homework.Me: It's just the first week Dad.Kevin: Then I'll give you homework.Me: Ugh. *rolls eyes* You're NOT funny.Kevin: I am very funny.Me: Maybe the new baby will find you funny.Kevin: I'm sure they will.Me: Yeah right. In your-*cuts off* Wait did you just say they?Kevin: Mhm. *smiles*Me: Natalie's having TWINS?Kevin: Yep.Me: Oh my God! That's so amazing! Does she know what she's having?Kevin: A boy and a girl.Me: Awesome! *smiles* Are you happy?Kevin: Extatic. Another little girl.Me: Maybe you'll bug her more and leave me alone.Kevin: Never Carebear. Never.**Later That Night**I lay in bed holding the picture I had of my mom and me. I was two hours old according to the back of the photo. She was smiling down at me. It hurt I had no memory of her. Except that one of her being killed. That night I tossed and turned. I was having the dream. Again. I woke up screaming and crying.Kevin: *runs in with bat* What's going on? *sees her* Oh sweetie. *drops bat and walks to her**sits on her bed* What's wrong.Me: *falls into his arms sobbing*Kevin: Baby girl, what's wrong? Come on talk to me.Me: It's my fault. It's my fault she's dead. It's my fault. Everything's my fault. Tyler's dead. That's my fault too. Mom and Tyler are gone and it's all my FAULT!Kevin: Cara Kristen Jo Nicolette Jonas, those things were NOT your fault.Me: Yes it is! If I hadn't been born Mom would've been with you and the robber would have just robbed us, not killed her. And if I hadn't had sex with Tyler he wouldn't have died. (A/N: Oh God she's turning into Grace from the Secret Life!)Kevin: Stop saying that! Just stop!I just contuniued to cry knowing everything was my fault.
