This video was for a Character motion study in my AD221 class. The idea was to create a short animation with realistic character motion.I went with a rather highly articulated character, utilizing multiple joints to create a more realistic and fluid run.Contrasting the articulated, detailed movements is a simpler, textural visual style. The texture used was a felt like blanket that was "cut out" in Photoshop to form the character, and color manipulated to form the background.This was animated in Adobe AfterEffects.Special thanks to Guðlaugur Kristinn Óttarsson. The music is an excerpt from his song "Findings." The tone of the music helps to give life to the piece, and I am very thankful for it.
