On July 25, 2009, Sundeep & Jasmeen were married at the Buena Park Gurdwara. Jasmeen began her day at the Cerritos Sheraton Hotel. Oscar from Ziba Beauty was there to make sure she looked as beautiful as possible. She wore a beautiful gold colored lehnga lavished with detailed crystal work, complemented with burghany dupatta trimmed with matching crystal work. The Sikh ceremony started promptly at 11:00 am. The groom arrived on a white horse for his baraat, as his friends and family danced to the sounds of the dhol player, Malinder Tooray. As he approached the gurdwara, the brides family was ready to greet him. The milni followed with all the heads of the family members exchanging colorful garlands. After the ceremony, the bride and groom departed to the Cerritos Sculpture Gardens to do a photo session with their photographer, Dina Douglass, which did an amazing job! It is a very traditional Punjabi custom for the bride and groom to return to the brides home to do a formal doli. The brides family say their emotional farewells to the bride, as they depart together. The reception took place at the Westin Long Beach. As you entered the ballroom, the decor was a mixture of purple & gold up lighting & floral centerpieces.
