This show will be based on his LFM blog post from last month, "People Who Died: The Lost Files."Jonathan Postal is a photographer living and working in Memphis. Throughout his life he has worked for many publications including the International Times, Soho Weekly News, Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, Guitar World, The New York Times, Interview, Vogue, and many, many, many more....Currently he is still freelancing as well as showing locally and nationally. His most recent show was Jonathan Postal & Mary Long-Postal: "Myths and Marks" at Askew Nixon Ferguson ending in May of 2009. Recently he was profiled in RSVP Magazine as well as photographing the annual photographic essay for Memphis Magazine. In May of 2009 Rave Up Records re-released the Readymades vinyl record, which you can find online or locally at Goner Records.
