Stephen Jasko (guitar/ backup vocals) and Clark Starace (bass) joined the band in '07 while Glenn Petnel (Drums) joined in '08. After establishing a core fan-base in North Jersey, Van Atta High set out to create a larger buzz for themselves and win over a larger audience. In an effort to do so, the band landed spots on Taste Of Chaos 2007, Warped Tour 2007/2008 and Bamboozle 2008. These large festivals partnered with shows in other regions and an intense internet presence have done wonders for the band's popularity, as well as local and national press coverage (including being named Alternative Press Magazine's "Unsigned Band of the Month" in August 2008). In December 2008, VAH inked a licensing agreement for one EP with indie label Thriving Records (prior home to Sky Eats Airplane & Emarosa). On March 10th, 2009 Van Atta High released their first nationally distributed record entitled DOIN' SOMETHIN' RIGHT (EP).
