Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, episode 9, "The Option Period", Matt Albie tribute, set to music by Vertical Horizon, song: "Everything You Want".Ricky and Ron, the co-executive producers and supervisors of the writers room are set to leave for the Fox network, with a pilot show called "Peripheral Vision Man", based off a sketch Studio 60 owns the rights to. The rights are about to expire, however, and it's up to Matt to decide whether or not to renew the rights and shut the pilot down, or let the rights and the writers go. He decides to let them go, and with them, all but two 'freshman' writers, Lucy, who has never had a sketch on the air, and Darius, the comic he and Simon just hired.Lucy kisses Matt to make Ricky jealous.Harriet considers doing a racy photo shoot, because she is perceived as 'not sexy', and to get back at Women United Through Faith, a Christian organization she has belonged to since she was little, because they disinvited her from their concert tour because of her wishy-washy comments in the Post about gay marriage.
