Performances by:Sek Loso Band (Sek was replaced by a look-a-like at the show I attended, yes, we got Shang-Hied), Palmy (only on a video screen, Shang-Hied again), Modern Dog, The Photo Sticker Machine with Rick Vachilirilun, Manop Meeramra, Arto Lindsay, Noi Pru, Sarawanee Tenatanit, Surin Hiesod, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Bruce Gaston, Pichet Klunchun, Tim Carr, Wit Pimkanchanapong, Pimaka TowiraMy Video footage of a trip from Nashville to NYC to attend the Ramakien Rak Opera in conjunction with The Lincoln Center Festival @ the Laguardia Concert Hall. Headliners were to be Sek of Sek Loso, but Sek was a no show and replaced by a back up look-a-like apparently due to an altercation that took place between Sek and another performer in a show a couple of nights before was a great disappointment to me since I made the trip to specifically see Sek perform, needless to say a waste of money and time. The girls that came were expecting to see Palmy only to be again disappointed that her presence was on a giant projection screen. Not to mention how confused everyone was with the show. Two of the people that came with me to the show fell asleep. I wish I could speak better of the show itself, it receives a big sigh from this critic who had high hopes for the show.
