Still life photography is a type of photography that usually focuses on subjects that are inanimate. While it usually helps if they aren’t objects that can move, the main requirement is that they be objects that don’t move via their own volition. While this does allow the photographer a bit more creativity in moving the objects into a composition, it also requires a finely crafted scene in order to create interest.
