Ghosts seem to be a popular subject these days, with shows like Ghost Adventures and Ghost Hunters on popular TV stations. Traditionally, ghosts are associated with Halloween, but the concept of ghosts can be traced back to mythology and religion. Typically, a ghost is the spirit of someone who is deceased, but in general use, ghosts tend to be mysterious, relatively amorphous or ethereal, and difficult to notice unless they choose to be noticed.
