Extreme weather can be a nervewracking experience and can cause widespread catastrophic damage, whether it’s a tornado, hurricane, thunderstorm, blizzard or flooding. However, extreme weather also offers unique photography opportunities, and there are many photographers who exclusively chase and photograph weather phenomena.

It’s important to always be safe and to never get too close to any dangerous weather system, but at the same time, as a photographer, carry your camera around because you never know when you’ll see some extreme weather.
