The deadline pressure is showing today. We have over 200 images submitted today alone that are avaiting moderation. I want to give my appreciation to the photographers that have put a lot of work into adding relevant keywords to their submissions. It makes my work A LOT easier, thanks guys!

Best Stock Photo Of 2006 contest will end on Sunday December 10th at midnight EST. We now have over 2.300 photographs submitted, and Im expecting a lot of last minute entries in the next few days.

Everything is running smoothly, and we have over 1700 entries accepted into the contest. There are now 19 days left until contest deadline. The quality of the entries is very good, although some don’t notice the size guidelines at first.

Im already planning to upgrate the gallery software soon, which will allow photographers to sign up for a account and upload images, write a short bio and stuff like that. Im pretty exited about it, but there is still alot of work to be done before it can be released.

Im also planning on updating the site layout, so if you have any thoughts on how you’d like to see things, please let me know.

Ok guys, there is only one month left until the contest ends. We have already received over 1250 entries submitted into the contest, and Im sure a lot more will come. So whipe the dust of your camera, or go through your photo archive and submit those images now!

If you don’t want people to be able to download and use your images (according to the sites terms of use, of course), please do not submit your images to the contest.
