Today I’m sharing a set of 5 free rock and seaweed textures from the rocky shore here in my hometown in Iceland. As you can see on the textures there’s some yellow seaweed on the rocks and then a green algie like seaweed in small pools of seawater. Therefore creating a really nice contrast of colors and surfaces, and also making these look a bit strange and unusual.
I tried to create a border of rock and water in some of the textures, which might come in handy if you are using these as backgrounds. Some of them might even work as overlays, but I guess you’ll have to experiment with them.The texture of the volcanic rock is very detailed, and because of the size of the images you can easily crop them and only use the rock area alone.
