Apps are becoming a more rapidly growing market than web design and development, because of the number of users who have now switched over to using mobile devices and social networks for a majority of their web browsing. As such, the ability to develop clean, functional and usable interfaces for mobile devices and social network applications has become a prized commodity.
The struggle with app designs is largely due to the lack of space and the reduced input methods that are common with mobile devices. Additionally, for social networks especially, there is a specific API that must be used which also provides limits.
