Typography is one of the most important parts of design. While images are often enough to express a concept, typography is what really drives home the point, especially in advertising and other printing services. Some ads are able to simply present a logo design or an image concept and create brand recognition, but most ads and especially poster designs require typography.

Typography also works exceptionally well as a stand-alone design element, especially in poster design.
