Urban exploration is one of the fastest growing hobbies, particularly among tech savvy young adults. Simply put, urban exploration is the search, photography and passion for abandoned structures, usually in urban environments. One of the mantras for urban explorers is to “leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but photographs”, in an effort to preserve these buildings for others.
While it often involves breaking the law by trespassing or gaining access to restricted areas, the results can be quite rewarding.
