Should I Have a Web Site?

Article by George Bustos - May 08, 2009

Why should I bother having a website? I don't really sell anything online and my business is small or I dont even have an organized business. Do I really need to bother with all this online hoopla?

The short answer is yes and here's why. Most products and services can be sold on line and this is quickly becoming the trend. There are more than 21 million shoppers online purchasing everything from books to jet airplanes. There is virtually nothing that can't be sold online.

If you are selling services then you should also be advertising these on the web so potential clients can quickly and easily find out more about you and the services you offer.

If you have made the decision to have a web site it needs to have a professional look and feel so you don't turn away potential customers. Your site needs to have a polished look if you are to be taken seriously. There are many software packages out there to choose from that will help you create a site. Even if you are inexperienced you can have a basic web site up in a matter of hours, however chances are it won't have the elements of a professional looking site. You don't need to break the bank to have a great looking site. There are many free tools that can help you create just the look you are looking for.

Geoden Solutions can help you create a professional looking site that won't break the bank. We specialize in affordable website design.
