Despite childhood memories of hosing soot off the house, Pittsburgh is no longer the polluted steel mill it's previous reputation would lead you to think it is. In the last 30 years Pittsburgh has transformed itself into a mecca of software and technology as well as many other industries such as health care, education, robotics, fashion, and finance. Carnegie Mellon is one of the leading technology centers in the world and when I studied software engineering at Colorado Tech. over half the text books were authored by CMU professors and alumni.
Looking for SEO web design in Pittsburgh?
I have built websites for Aerosmith, Phish, Bluenote Records and I've done work for The Rolling Stones and NYNEX. I also have a long standing relationship with Harvard University in relation to 4 of their websites. More recently my clients range from Ophthalmologists to dancers, software vendors to farmers, garage bands to Israeli pop stars. Its a fairly large list that spans about 15 years.
My latest realm of interest has been search engine optimization and internet marketing. I've always been aware of seo but in retrospect I realize my previous understanding was flawed at one level or another. This interest grew from a desire to create websites that are valuabe, to make myself more valuable, and to have a few more cards to put on the table when seeking out new clients. Experience has taught me that even the best looking website isn't worth a penny if no one knows it is there. SEO is just one side of the coin though, internet marketing and more specifically, driving targeted traffic to a website is the other side.
"Yinz goin daan taan ta check awt dem Stillers?"
Southern states have a distinct drawl while many Northeastern states tend to lose letters like T and R. Y'all is a logical contraction of you all. Yinz?? I can't even guess where that came from.
Having been born and raised in Pittsburgh there are many aspects to the place and its folks I never really noticed so much as I do now after being away the last 25 years living in other cities. There are many trees here, 3 big rivers that meet at "The Point" and of course the Steelers. The one thing that really threw me off was folks actually letting me merge onto the freeway without having to pull some kind of stunt or maneuver. Ever seen Spinal Tap, the first few minutes of that movie is a scene I've seen in real life a thousand times, coming out of the Fort Pitt tunnel and entering Pittsburgh from the South hills. This place is so unique and I am psyched to continue down the Pittsburgh seo web design superhighway.
